Purpose:
Harness the strengths of students, faculty and research programs across the energy and natural resources sector. Create a community with shared interests in energy and natural resources, encourage leaders to be active in the community, create an online place where people can access Berkeley’s energy and natural resources information, make Berkeley the most attractive place for students interested in “clean tech,” and identify student-led projects that reinforce “clean tech.”
BERC is a student-led organization whose mission is to connect and develop the <a href="http://www.berkeley.edu">UC Berkeley</a> energy and resource community. The group acts as a bridge between the many schools, programs, and labs at the University, including the <a href="http://www.law.berkeley.edu">Boalt Hall School of Law</a>, <a href="http://chem.berkeley.edu/">College of Chemistry</a>, <a href="http://www.coe.berkeley.edu/">College of Engineering</a>, <a href="http://www.cnr.berkeley.edu">College of Natural Resources</a>, <a href="http://erg.berkeley.edu">Energy & Resources Group</a>, <a href="http://gspp.berkeley.edu">Goldman School of Public Policy</a>, <a href="http://haas.berkeley.edu">Haas School of Business</a>, <a href="http://www.lbl.gov">Lawrence Berkeley National Lab</a>, <a href="http://www.ucei.berkeley.edu">UC Energy Institute</a>, and others. To foster productive applications of university research and technology, BERC also forges connections with the larger energy and cleantech cluster that is growing in the Bay Area and beyond.

Students for Energy and Environmental Development (SEED)
Purpose:
Students for Energy and Environmental Development (SEED) develops and
teaches K-12 curriculum about traditional and alternative energy sources,
efficiency, and conservation. Ways to get involved include teaching,
curriculum development, website development, fundraising, etc. Time
commitments range from a few hours a semester to a few hours a week.

The Sustainability Team program is dedicated to three major goals: 1)Create and implement projects that address campus environmental problems, establish sustainable practices on campus, and raise sustainability awareness to students, faculty, and staff. 2) Provide students with the training and tools necessary to accomplish effective sustainability advocacy and project implementation, navigation of the campus bureaucracy, and experience required to succeed in future leadership roles. 3)Serve as a liaison between students and the ASUC, GA, administration, faculty, staff, and Berkeley community; facilitate effective networking between all environmental entities on campus

Purpose:
The Green Initiative Fund (TGIF) is a grant-making fund for sustainability projects on UC Berkeley's campus. About $170,000 per year are available for grants; students, faculty, and staff are eligible to submit project proposals. Projects will be selected for funding by an annually appointed Grant Making Committee consisting of students, faculty, and staff, in which students have the majority vote.

Purpose:
The Net Impact club works to help MBA students gain the critical knowledge, support and connections that will help them succeed as leaders in socially responsible business and not-for-profit management.
Our resources and activities include a roadmap to classes and career development opportunities, speaker series, the Board Fellows program, Net Impact Firm Night, and the annual Nonprofit and Public Management Dinner.

Mycophytes
Purpose:
A Plant and Microbial Biology Student Organization. The Mycophytes provide social and academic resources to students majoring or minoring in Genetics and Plant Biology and Microbial Biology. Some of the Mycophytes’ activities include holding socials, faculty dinners, and information outreach events to promote their majors.
