Description:
The first thing this group will do is to develop a network of scholars that work on ES so that we will know each other’s work and expertise. Berkeley’s faculty has been at the forefront of much of the work in ES, though no formal communication exists between the disparate groups. The lack of a network has limited a real potential for synergetic collaboration, taking advantage of the rich resources and diversity of knowledge at Berkeley. We wish to make ecosystem services a major theme on this campus.
