Since its inception in 2005 BIE has maintained a comprehensive database of environmental resources at UC Berkeley.
Since the Summer 2008, BIE began collaborating with the Chancellor's Advisory Committee on Sustainability and the UC Berkeley Office of Sustainability to maintain the UC Berkeley Environment & Sustainability Portal.
