This Round Table will focus on three main issues in this important emerging area of environmental science and policy:
(1)   How do we think about prioritization regarding the conduct of scientific research to further our understanding of the risks of nanotechnology?
(2)   How do we understand public perceptions of the risks associated with this diverse set of technologies?
(3) Finally, how do we think about environmental policy and governance strategies for nanotechnologies?
