PolicyMatters Journal

We invite you to submit your writing to be published in Berkley's public policy journal. PolicyMatters is a journal of public policy analysis produced by the students of the Goldman School of Public Policy at the University of California at Berkeley. Our latest issue was published in December. Check it out at www.policymatters.net. We accept submissions from students, alumni, and community members including people not affiliated with Berkeley. We accept submissions in a variety of formats, from longer policy studies involving original research and detailed support to shorter "provocations" of issues that policymakers need to deal with. Whenever possible, we encourage you to build your work around making and supporting policy recommendations to do with the public problems you explore. We work hard throughout the editing process to hone accepted articles into excellent manuscripts. Authors should be willing to work with editorial staff through the editing process. You should also feel free to submit pieces which are not fully perfected, as the editorial staff will help with this process should your submission be accepted.
