Summer Internship with Greenwala.com

In India, a wala is a person you go to for something: a bicycle repair wala, a chai wala. Greenwala.com will soon be the new destination to go to for green. An on-line community based in California but with a global reach, Greenwala will be a place to share ideas and learn about ways to make our homes and workplaces more sustainable. We are currently a start-up operating in stealth mode.

Are you interested in helping write sustainability content or moderating one of the seven channels for Greenwala: energy, transportation, organic food, green building, green technology, consumer products, or closed loop manufacturing?

If you:
• Believe that inspiring people with a positive vision is a powerful tool for realizing a sustainable world,
• Enjoy researching and writing, and
• Like having flexible hours and a flexible job location

2. A cover letter including information about sustainability topics of interest to you and relevant work experience on these topics
3. A 200-300 word writing sample on the topic “The best way to travel between San Francisco and Los Angeles: environmental impact, time and cost”
