Operations Excellence Principal for Ausra

electricity at market-competitive prices without carbon emissions. Our business plan

Operational Excellence Principal
The Operational Excellence Principal will invigorate the company's volume production
release processes by enthusiastically educating and encouraging all employees on
their roles in ensuring robust delivery systems for quality products. The
Operational Excellence Principal will establish systems that enable efficient and
effective processes from product design through the internal and external supply
chain and into solar field installation.
Reporting to the VP of Global Manufacturing, the Operational Excellence Principal
will locate in the corporate office yet spend significant time in the company's
factories and at external supplier sites.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
* Establish QMS policies, processes and procedures for development through
production and construction at solar field installation sites
* Integrate cross-functional Product Development, Manufacturing, Planning,
Purchasing and Quality perspectives into efficient and effective Engineering Change
Control and Document
Control processes
* Facilitate optimal operations in state-of-the-art manufacturing plants
through manufacturing processes and technology
* Analyze core competencies and current operations to identify and develop
strategies for continuous productivity improvement
* Facilitate value-added innovation processes that streamline
commercialization of intellectual property
Job Qualifications:
* Bachelors' Degree in Engineering field, MS preferred
* Minimum 10 years experience with data visualization and analysis, new
product development through commercialization, and TQM/ISO 9000 implementation in a
volume manufacturing environment
* Demonstrated experience in successfully launching new products to high
volume production at design cost
* Demonstrated experience in applying Six Sigma and Lean methodologies
* Superb interpersonal and communication skills with ability to multitask in a
fast-paced, detail oriented environment
