Technical Product Manager for Ausra
Ausra, Inc. is developing large-scale solar thermal power plants that will provide
electricity at market-competitive prices without carbon emissions. Our business plan
includes the installation of 1-2 GW per year of our unique Compact Linear Fresnel
Reflector CLFR) solar thermal electric technology. If you like a fast-paced,

Responsibilities:
* Represent Ausra in technical due diligence meetings with financial and
strategic partners.
* Build effective internal relationships with Ausra's commercial and technical
teams
* Continuously improve and maintain Ausra's technical due diligence customer
portal site.
* Create new technical documentation, Customer FAQs, manuals, etc., as
\necessary to improve Ausra's customer response time
* Analyze project economics based on economic, optical, thermal, and
electrical performance models.
* Simultaneously manage the technical due diligence process for several large
partners for project and corporate financing.
Qualifications:
* B.S. degree or higher in the physical sciences or engineering (or
equivalent). Mechanical engineering preferred.
* Several years of experience in a technical marketing, product management or
sales engineer role, involving a complex product and large transactions.
* Power industry experience is a plus.
* Proven ability to work effectively in a matrix environment, in cross-
disciplinary efforts, and through multiple departments to achieve goals and
objectives
* Proven ability to create clear documentation on technical topics for
technical or non-technical audiences.
* Clear and effective presentation skills, and confidence in large or
high-level meetings.
* Excellent analytical skills.
